Parking is on the street, please enter through Door 1 - the Main Middle School Door
In the Morning:
- Make sure your
student has their schedule with them (at least on the first day)
- Have your student wear the attached sticker with their name and schedule on it.
Getting to School:
- Parking is available on 15th Avenue and the other surrounding streets in front of the middle school.
- Crossing guards will be present to help get across 15th Avenue. We do anticipate there will be a lot of traffic, so please allow time for parking and walking to the building. The city has No Parking signs on the streets surrounding the Middle School. Families DO NOT need to follow these signs during summer school hours.
- The circle driveway in front of the middle school will be closed before and after school. Families with a documented need for special access (mobility issues, wheelchair access) can obtain a pass to access this area.
Entering the Building:
All students should enter Door #1 (main entrance) each day. The doors open at 7:55 a.m.
On the first day of school families may enter the building to help students find classrooms.
After the first day of school, families must remain outside. Staff members will be available to inside to help direct students.
Dismissal:
Students will be brought to Door #1 at noon for dismissal. 4K and 5K students will use door #55 for dismissal (located on the south side - or far right -of the front of the Middle School).
Absences:
Please call our office each day a student is going to be absent (414-766-5103). Please leave a short message with your student’s name and grade.
Lunch:
An optional sit-down lunch will be available in the High School Commons from noon to 12:45 p.m. at Door #9 at the High School.
When the school day is done, all students will exit the middle school and then students/families will be responsible for getting to lunch.
