Congratulations to teacher Isabel Mendiola and her STEM students Yassin M., Allison V., Abbigail M., Emmet W., and Blakely R.
The students' project to monitor water quality in Lake Michigan and to detect zebra mussels was named one of 300 State Finalist nationwide in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow contest, and they were encouraged to resubmit next year. 🎖️💧
As a prize, the Middle School will receive $2,500 in Samsung products for use in classrooms.
