The Municipal Band was established in 1935 by 13 musicians, many of them recent graduates of South Milwaukee High School. By the time the band celebrated its 50th anniversary, its membership had grown to nearly 100.
The fitness center, located in the High school is a combination of community, students, and staff, we have created a facility that has something for everyone.
South Milwaukee's Performing Arts Center is a professional, school-affiliated Performing Arts Center that has an outstanding legacy of theatre and music education.
The South Milwaukee Recreation Department offers activities and programs such as before and after school care, swimming lessons, swim club (SMAC), middle school sports, adult exercise, and much more!

If you have never explored the options by South Milwaukee Recreation Department, or it has been a few years since you registered, I encourage you to set a goal of selecting one of our programs for yourself, your family, or your friends.
Register early, as programs often fill quickly.

The first time you register online, one adult member of your family will need to create an account with a customer login name, password, and valid email address. The minor family members are added to the Adult Account.
Go to our registration site. Select “Create an Account” and provide the required information. (Remember to save your login password information!)
Once you have an account, you may log in to your account: Click “My Account.” Enter your username and password. Go to “Other Services” and click “Register for an Activity.” Find the activity you wish to register for and click it. Click on the “Add to My Cart” button.
When done selecting activities, follow the screen for checkout. Please note that you must have a valid credit card to pay for the activities. Once your payment is approved, your receipt will display. Print your receipt.
