Middle School Summer School

Summer School will be held
Monday-Thursday

June 24-July 31, 2025
8:00 AM - noon

No summer school on Fridays

Class Periods
Period 1: 8:00 am - 9:15 am
Period 2: 9:20 am - 10:35 am
Period 3: 10:40 am - 12:00 noon

Students will have breaks during the morning.

NEW LOCATION: Middle School Summer School classes will be held at the South Milwaukee High School, 801 15th Avenue, South Milwaukee, WI 53172.

All Middle School students will enter the High School through Door #16 which is located at the North end of the HS Staff parking lot. The parking lot entrance is off the Oak Creek Parkway.

Students should exit at Door #16 unless they are participating in the summer lunch program.

• Parents/Guardians must call the school between 8:00am and 12:00pm to excuse their student on the day of the absence.
• Your student may be dropped from class(es) for: one (1) unexcused absence; any type of office referral for misconduct or disruptive behavior; excessive tardiness (6); or excessive excused absences without documentation (3).
• An extended absence of more than 4 days will be considered for approval by the administration if submitted in advance.

Breakfast WILL NOT be served.  Please make sure your students have breakfast prior to arriving at summer school. The doors will open at 7:55 and classes begin promptly at 8:00.  

An optional sit-down lunch will be available in the High School Commons from noon to 12:45 PM.

Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle to fill throughout the day.

All school rules, including those around the appropriate use of technology must be followed to remain eligible to participate in the summer school courses. Students must report to school each day with a charged Chromebook.
