The school day at South Milwaukee Middle School runs from 7:40 am - 2:40 pm. Each grade level has a unique bell schedule within the normal school day. Although the last class of the day ends at 2:40 pm, we highly encourage students to take advantage of the 2:40-3:00 pm resource time to work with teachers to improve their academic perfomance. In addition, we utilize and A day, B day schedule to maximize opportuniies for out students.

During the 2011-2012 school year, there will be several early release days for our students. Student will be released from school at 11:30 am on the early release days.
