The South Milwaukee Recreation Department serves as a catalyst in the development and promotion of a broad based schedule of activities and facilities that will enhance the health, well-being and leisure time pursuits of all residents regardless of age, sex, race, disabilities, or economic status. Activities and programs are conducted throughout the year, with specific programs designed for the school year or the summer months.
Classes and activities are offered for pre-school children, grade school children, teen-age youths and adults. These programs are planned and conducted to provide wholesome, safe and constructive leisure opportunities and to meet the needs and interests of the participants. We assume the responsibility to provide all individuals with an opportunity to continue to seek wholesome recreation experiences throughout their lives and we welcome you and your family to the opportunity to enjoy the many good things your Recreation Department has to offer throughout the year.
